First of all: yes, I read the book. PLEASE refrain from discussing it anywhere here on my DA page. No spoilers in comments, anywhere at all. I would hate to accidentally spoil someone who was just browsing. If you want to talk about it, PM me or something.

Second of all: CONVENTIONS.

I will be at the following conventions this year (as of now)
-Connecticon
-Otakon
-Furfright
-New York Anime Fest

For Otakon (and CTcon to a lesser degree) I will be with a bunch of my fellow cosplaying Avatards in a large group. We'll be doing multiple Avatar costume sets.

Furfright I haven't really planned out yet, but I will definitely be there. I will likely be in the dealers room one of the three days selling badges and tails.

I don't really post much furry art in this account anymore, but I wanted to pimp myself out to anyone interested.

I've wound up a little shorter on cash than expected this month and I'm trying to make some of it up, especially since I'm going to be dropping money on AnimeBoston and such in the near future. So I am offering two different styles of con badges for commission, both $20.

For FWA attendees: I'm not going to be at the con, but if you order and I receive payment by next Wednesday, I will guarantee that your badge reaches you in time for the con.

NOTE: Though these are primarily furry con badges, since that is the usual market for such things, I will happily accept commissions for NON-furry badges.

Since I seem to be getting an influx of pageviews since I've started posting fanart (who knew?), I thought I should actually make a journal entry that has a point.

New icon too... because the picture the old one was made out of was deleted about two years ago.

One upside to having a laptop... I'm now being FORCED to sit down and learn to use my wacom tablet. Because I have no mouse and coloring things with a touch mouse is nigh impossible.

I've had a major upheaval in my social life recently. The person who has been my best friend in New York for almost two years... just isn't anymore. But, while the nostalgia makes me a little sad, it's almost a relief. It was not a good relationship, particularly in recent months, and I am better off. Maybe we could be friends again someday... when he grows up and realizes some things about himself. But right now I'm not unduly concerned. I'm actually more happy and relaxed than I've been in a good long time. I actually COOKED for the first time in months. And now we have more spagetti in tupperware than I know what to do with.
